Hi, I’m Rebekah Rai, founder of Masterpiece Studio , North Queensland’s first Cosmetic Tattoo Training Academy and a five-star rated cosmetic tattoo artist based in Townsville, Queensland.
I began my career in Permanent Makeup (PMU) in 2018 and have since trained with some of the most respected national and international industry leaders, allowing me to master both the technical and artistic elements of cosmetic tattooing. With over 1,000s successful client transformations and 150+ five-star reviews, I bring proven expertise, precision, and real-world experience into every aspect of my work.
My comprehensive training programs are designed for those looking to start a new career or elevate their existing skills. Each course equips students with the knowledge, techniques, and confidence required to succeed in the ever-growing PMU industry.

Maintain Infection Prevention for skin penetration Treatments is a requirement for anyone who wants to be a tattoo artist and is required by council to apply for permit. You must complete this before undertaking a tattoo course. It teaches you the skills and knowledge required to identify, manage and control infection risks to your clients, yourself and your work colleagues during skin penetration treatments. This course can be completed in approximately 2-3 weeks (20-40 hours of theory plus 5 hour practical).
